Job summary

Tops is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Night Crew Manager Store #416 to oversee nightly operations and ensure product availability and proper stocking. The role requires knowledge of store layout and product locations, as well as receiving, stocking, rotating, cutting, and marking product.

The position involves training and scheduling night crew staff, adhering to safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining accurate paperwork and backroom organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding nightly operations, safety, and sanitation.
• Adhere to company policy through proper receiving, handling, storing, and stocking of product.
• Assist the grocery department in achieving financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense.
• Maintain proper shelf conditions in regards to pricing, cleaning, straightening, rotating, and facing of product.
• Adhere to shelf management as it applies to following suggested plan-o-gram layouts and new/discontinued products.
• Training, development and scheduling of night crew associates.
• File all necessary paperwork required for the night crew department.
• Help keep the backroom clean and orderly by organizing, making bales, stacking pallets etc.
• Direct subordinates in implementing plan of action and goal attainment.
• Take direction from the night crew manager and act in his or her place when absent
