This independent on-site position requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and attentiveness to safety and security procedures.

You will coordinate with hotel staff via radio, assist with parking guidance, and provide accurate information about amenities.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills and a welcoming, guest-service focused demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using two-way radio systems for professional communication.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to look up and verify reservation details.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness for safety/security practices.
• Previous hospitality, security, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet guests and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor to create an inviting first impression.
• Information Resource: Provide clear directions and information about hotel amenities, facilities, and services.
• Access Control: Monitor and manage incoming traffic, allowing entry only to authorized vehicles, including guests, members, and approved visitors.
• Security & Verification: Verify identity and purpose of entrants following established protocols.
• Guest Assistance: Address parking, venue locations, and hotel policies with attentiveness.
• Efficient Traffic Flow: Manage peak arrivals to ensure smooth vehicle access.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with security and other departments via radio.
• Computer Use: Use the gatehouse computer to verify reservations and arrivals.
• Observation & Reporting: Stay alert for unusual activity and report security concerns.
• Effective Communication: Relay important information clearly to guests and teammates.
