Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Retail fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience in compounding and aseptic technique preferred.
• Understanding of USP guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Perform calculations to ensure ingredients are measured and used properly.
• Visually verify sterile and non-sterile lots.
• Visually inspect prescriptions for color, consistency and appearance.
• Answer and clarify pharmacist-related calls.
• Counsel providers and ensure appropriate dosing for individualized care.
