Job summary

Residence Inn Dupont Circle in Washington, DC is seeking a Night Auditor to balance and audit departmental ledgers, prepare operating reports, and assist guests overnight. You will handle registrations, phone calls, reservations, and billing with attention to detail and guest service during the overnight hours.

The role requires an overnight schedule, Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and offers hourly compensation of $19.00–$20.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Accounting/Money handling experience preferred.
• Ability to balance transactions and prepare deposits.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with hotel PMS and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Post daily room and outstanding charges.
• Balance revenue totals and prepare reports.
• Verify registration cards for arriving guests.
• Handle the hotel phone system, transfer calls, and take messages.
• Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations.
• Check in/out guests according to hotel and brand standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guests' special requests.
• Notify housekeeping and maintenance of reported problems.
• Maintain the Front Office area cleanliness.
• Perform cashier duties and post charges.
• Follow security procedures for guests and employees.
