Job summary

MARQUEE HOSPITALITY is seeking a Night Auditor/Guest Service Agent for the overnight shift (typically 11 pm–7 am) to manage front desk operations, register guests, and prepare daily reports. The role balances transactions, performs night audit tasks, and conducts security walks while maintaining high service standards.

The position requires at least 1 year in a hotel or related field, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong problem-solving, communication, and math skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field (1+ year)
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to problem-solve guest issues and respond to emergencies
• Proficiency with Windows, Excel and Word
• Effective communication of information and ideas
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure
• Comfort handling financial information and data

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly, service-oriented approach
• Maintain attendance and grooming standards per brand requirements
• Follow safety and regulatory standards to ensure efficient hotel operations
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process
• Complete Night Audit checklist and balance daily transactions
• Manage front desk cashiering and computer operations during overnight shift
• Handle guest requests from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Maintain record-keeping and familiarity with house rules
• Distribute Daily Flash Report and transfer master or house accounts as needed
• Attend management meetings as required
