Job summary

The Night Auditor at Avion Hospitality oversees Front Desk operations during the overnight shift and completes the hotel’s End of Day audit, serving as the primary guest service representative overnight while ensuring accuracy and security of financial and operational processes.

Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, processing reservations, balancing daily transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining confidentiality of guest and hotel information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience at hotel Front Desk/Night Audit preferred.
• Experience with hotel Property Management System preferred.
• Marriott or Courtyard experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic accounting, reconciliation, and cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and check in/out arriving guests during overnight shift.
• Process reservations, room assignments, extensions, cancellations.
• Balance daily transactions and complete audit procedures.
• Prepare and distribute nightly revenue and operational reports.
• Respond promptly to guest questions and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain Front Office records, logs, and confidentiality.
• Operate PMS, POS, and payment terminals securely.
• Coordinate End of Day/Night Audit and shift handoffs.
