Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel North Charleston is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to welcome guests, check them in and out, balance receipts, and promote hotel programs.

Responsibilities include assisting with breakfast setup, handling cash, and maintaining guest records. You may work as the sole team member on property during shifts and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to take written and verbal directions and speak English clearly
• Relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner in providing a hospitable environment
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to handle money, make change and utilize front desk office machines

Responsibilities

• Performs front desk functions including checking guests in/out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling
• Audits previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries; runs reports
• May assist with breakfast setup and food service as needed
• Work alone for majority of shift when required; ensure guest safety and security during overnight hours
• Provide courteous, efficient, friendly service to all guests and respond quickly to inquiries and requests
