Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Chicago is seeking a dedicated Night Services Manager to oversee overnight operations at two hospital locations. You will coordinate with hospital social work teams, manage guest referrals, and ensure a welcoming, organized environment for families and volunteers.

The role requires a self-starter with strong communication skills and a compassionate approach, including supervising staff and coordinating donations and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, psychology, non-profit management, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience required, preferably in family-centered program services.
• Must be a self-starter, able to multitask and handle pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; compassionate and detail oriented.
• Experience using Raiser’s Edge software is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight operations for two Ronald McDonald House programs.
• Engage hospital social work and care coordination teams to optimize access.
• Process referrals and reservations; explain policies to guests.
• Greet families, volunteers, and visitors; promote warmth and support.
• Recruit, train, and schedule House Volunteers; supervise staff.
• Monitor occupancy, inventory, and program statistics; manage donations.
