Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Assistant to support a fast-paced emergency department. Schedule features back half of the week with 3x12s or 4x10s, and pay ranges from $19.39 to $28.72 per hour plus shift differentials.

Responsibilities include triaging emergencies, assisting DVM with estimates, performing diagnostics, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and inpatient care in ICU. Licensure and ongoing CE are supported.

Qualifications

• Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards.
• Possess working knowledge of anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Remain current on CPR guidelines and assist as assigned by attending clinician.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency cases and assist DVM with crafting and going over estimates.
• Provide nursing care to patients and discharge as needed.
• Perform diagnostics (radiographs, lab work) and support ICU/Inpatient care.
