Job summary

Cascade Veterinary Referral Center is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Assistant for overnight shifts to support veterinarians and technicians with patient care and essential hospital tasks.

Responsibilities include triage, treatments, medication administration, laboratory work, radiographs, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for all patients and staff. The role requires 18+ with HS diploma and 1 year of veterinary experience, with a schedule of overnights and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of Veterinary Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients and greet owners upon arrival
• Triage, perform physical exams, and assist licensed staff with treatments and medications
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of hospital areas, equipment, and supplies
• Record medical information accurately and support doctors and technicians during procedures
• Assist with radiographs, laboratory tests, and patient restraint as needed
