PetVet Care Centers’ Cascade Veterinary Referral Center in Tigard, OR is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Assistant for the overnight shift. You will support veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks, handle patient care, and assist with medications, restraints, and clerical work.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, client communication, and maintaining a safe, clean hospital environment. Schedule includes three overnight shifts weekly, with potential transitions to longer overnight

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of veterinary assistant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet and guide clients, record basic vitals on arrival.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with treatments and medication administration.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and facility.
• Support doctors with testing, radiographs, and patient handling.
