Veterinary Emergency Group The PC in Sandy, UT seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician for overnight shifts. You’ll join a fast-paced ER team delivering gold-standard care, triage, anesthesia support, diagnostics, and critical care nursing for a wide range of cases.

The ideal candidate holds a AVMA‑accredited credentialed tech, 1+ year ER experience, and is prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in veterinary technology strongly preferred
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state where VEG practice is located; VTS in ECC/internals as a plus
• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary technician; emergency or specialty medicine preferred
• Basic computer skills and EMR software proficiency
• Excellent communication and ability to stay calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge
• Assist in anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care nursing
• Perform IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions as needed
• Communicate effectively with team to support care plans
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as required (ultrasound, endoscopy)
• Maintain patient and client comfort in stressful situations
