Veterinary Emergency Referral Center (VERC) in Pensacola, FL seeks a full-time Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position offers three 12-hour overnight shifts (Friday–Sunday) with $20–$23/hour plus $2 overnight differential, based on skills and experience.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Veterinary Technician.
• Emergency veterinary experience preferred, LVT certification prioritized.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including restraint, imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, and lab procedures.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality patient care for emergency outpatient cases.
• Assist with patient assessment, treatment, monitoring, and daily care.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, and other technical procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, and drug calculations.
• Safely restrain and handle patients.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes to the veterinary medical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow hospital protocols.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient patient care environment.
• Support the Emergency team in providing timely, compassionate care.
