Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking a Technician to test and troubleshoot electronic units for aircraft applications. You will set up test stands, configure equipment for special tests, and interpret results to support maintenance and repair operations.

Responsibilities include reading manuals and schematics, communicating status to the team, and ensuring safety and quality in a high-demand environment. Night shift hours from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM with potential first-shift training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Experience using multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands.
• Configure test equipment for special tests as needed.
• Interpret and record test results.
• Recognize and isolate test equipment failures.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot to sub-assembly level.
• Read and interpret component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
• Communicate work status to team and support staff.
