Collins Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to test and troubleshoot electronic units for aircraft components. You will interpret engineering data, set up test stands, and document results.

This is a 3rd shift on-site role with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and comprehensive benefits. Training lasts ~60 days, emphasizing safety and FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with technical training or coursework.
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Experience with multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands.
• Configure test equipment for special tests.
• Interpret and record test results.
• Recognize and isolate test equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot electronic units to sub-assembly and component level.
• Read and interpret technical data such as manuals and schematics.
• Communicate work status to team members and support staff.
• Write in a clear and concise technical manner.
• Utilize computer skills and software applications.
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 pm - 6:00 am.
• Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm for ~60 days.
