Job summary

Collins Aerospace operates its Phoenix MRO facility, repairing electronic components for aircraft. This onsite role focuses on testing and troubleshooting units, reading engineering data, and using diagnostic tools to isolate failures.

You will work a 3rd shift schedule with a structured training period. Successful candidates typically hold a high school diploma with technical training, plus 2+ years of related electronic testing experience, including reading schematics and using multimeters or

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings
• Experience with multimeters or oscilloscopes

Responsibilities

• Testing a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
• Setting up and operating various test stands
• Configuring test equipment for special tests as needed
• Interpreting and recording test results
• Recognizing and isolating test equipment failures
• Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level
• Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
• Communicating work status to team members and support staff
• Utilizing theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components
• Reading and interpreting technical data
• Writing in a clear and concise technical manner
• Utilizing computer skills and software applications
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 pm - 6:00 am
• Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm for ~60 days
