Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Educational Building Full Time Patrol Officer in New York, NY. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Position type: Full Time; Pay rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. Requires 18+ (21+ for armed roles), HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and applicable licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles (?)

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns calmly and in accordance with campus protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, walkways, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report hazards or violations to supervision.
