This role emphasizes leadership on the floor and high-quality patient care. You will mentor teammates, oversee anesthesia and nursing tasks, and collaborate with leadership on workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Emergency veterinary technician experience (ECC).
• Strong technical skills including phlebotomy and anesthesia monitoring.
• Comfort leading and supporting teammates overnight.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in critical situations.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Leading overnight hospital flow to ensure efficient, compassionate care.
• Supporting veterinarians by executing treatment plans.
• Delegating tasks to treatment and surgery technicians.
• Assisting with emergency procedures, anesthesia, diagnostics, and surgery.
• Monitoring anesthesia and providing advanced nursing care.
• Admitting and discharging patients; educating clients on home care.
• Serving as a calm, steady leadership presence overnight.
• Mentoring technicians and supporting skill development.
• Partnering with leadership on workflow and patient care improvements.
