Job summary

Seasonsafc in Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide overnight care for adults with disabilities in a residential setting. Roles include Awake NOC and Sleep NOC shifts, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and individualized night routines.

You will monitor residents, follow care plans, administer medications per protocol, and respond to needs during the night while maintaining dignity and independence. Full and part-time positions available with compelling benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass Minnesota DHS background study and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Ability to follow 245D requirements.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support with nighttime routines and personal care needs
• Complete scheduled checks and monitor individuals throughout the overnight hours
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for individuals while they sleep
• Respond appropriately to individuals who wake during the night or need assistance
• Follow individual care plans and provide support based on each person’s needs
• Administer medications according to established procedures and schedules
• Observe and report changes in behavior, health, sleep patterns, or other concerns
• Respond calmly to behavioral, medical, or other unexpected situations
• Complete overnight documentation, progress notes, communication logs, and other required records
• Prepare the home for the upcoming day, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and other household tasks
• Maintain clean and organized common areas and bedrooms as appropriate
• Review communication from the previous shift and provide important updates to the incoming team
• Follow emergency procedures, safety protocols, and 245D requirements
• Promote dignity, independence, privacy, and respect while providing overnight support
• Work independently while remaining attentive and prepared to respond to changing needs
