Job summary

Scion Staffing has partnered with a Southern California essential-services company to recruit a Dispatcher for overnight operations in Garden Grove, CA. The role focuses on coordinating routes, supporting drivers, and ensuring efficient, compliant deliveries during the night shift from approx.

10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The Dispatcher will liaise with, and support, sales, maintenance, billing, and operations teams while maintaining shift notes and records.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or related coordination roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication with drivers, customers, and teams.
• Ability to stay organized and make fast, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily delivery routes and provide drivers with locations and route instructions.
• Maintain ongoing driver communication while monitoring dispatch platforms, GPS, routes, and activity.
• Respond to delays, route changes, equipment issues, customer concerns, and operational challenges.
