Community Options, Inc. is now hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Overnight Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides in Corpus Christi, Texas to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required– we provide PAID training!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and related screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and activities as needed.
• Complete program documentation and billable records accurately and on time.
• Build a support network by engaging with community members, businesses, and families.
