Job summary

AO is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in New Jersey for a full-time overnight role. You will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, promoting wellness, safety, independence and dignity.

Paid training is provided and a schedule of Sunday through Wednesday 11:00 PM–9:00 AM is offered with Weekday and Weekend pay rates. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum age 21 years and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and document in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities.
• Support achievement of ISP and behavior plans.
• Promote independence and personal choice while ensuring safety.
