Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen.
• Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening.
• Ability to pass trainings such as CPR/First Aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including medication administration, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and transportation.
• Implement individual behavioral plans and use teaching techniques to help residents acquire new skills.
• Encourage participation in community outings and recreational activities based on individual plans.
• Report concerns about health and safety and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide compassionate, respectful support to adults with developmental disabilities.
