Job summary

PKT Enterprises seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness in residential or community settings. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, implementing client goals and teaching new skills in a safe, engaging environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, dignity, and respect, with benefits including medical and dental coverage for full-time staff and a focus on client-centered care and meaningful life enrichment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Age 19 or older per policy.
• Good driving record with car insurance in employee’s name.

Responsibilities

• Plan and participate in activities at home or in the community.
• Provide transportation for clients.
• Balance client funds and assist with medications as directed.
• Collaborate with the IDT to implement client programs and daily goals.
• Document client programs/outcomes in daily logs.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with clothing selection and laundry as needed.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
