Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Kalispell, Montana is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional. You will work collaboratively with a team to support adolescents in their mental health journey, engaging them in various activities.

This full-time role includes a shift from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am and offers a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescents is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, training provided.

Overview

Hourly Range: $21.00 - $23.00 an hour

Full Time, Onsite position

Shift: 11:00 pm - 9:00 am

$500 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days and meeting onboarding expectations

As an Overnight Direct Support Professional, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to supportadolescents ages (13-18) in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. Every day you will participate and guide teen girls in experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, hiking, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities. To thrive at Chrysalis, you must have an empathetic heart and maintain personal and professional boundaries with teens.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teen girls as they arise
• Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere
• Communicate important observations and updates to the Shift Supervisor and Residential Managers
• At end of shift, document client progress notes daily
• With an empathetic heart encourages teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

Qualifications

• Age:21+ years of age or older
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
• Skills:Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
• Experience:Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
• Certifications:CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
• Background Checks:Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.
