Job summary

Chrysalis Therapeutic Boarding School is looking for a Direct Support Professional to support adolescents aged 13–18 in their journey toward improved mental health. You will be responsible for leading therapies and daily living activities while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time, on-site position offers an hourly pay range of $21.00–$23.00 and a sign-on bonus of $1,500. Preferred qualifications include a background in human services, psychology, or criminal justice.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ years.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training provided.

Overview

Position: Direct Support Professional (Full‑time, On‑site) – hourly pay $21.00–$23.00. Location: 77 Trails End Road, Eureka, Montana 59917. New hires receive a $1,500 sign‑on bonus paid in three installments: $500 after 30 days, $500 after six months, and $500 after twelve months—subject to continued employment and meeting eligibility requirements.

As a Direct Support Professional you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support adolescents ages 13–18 in their journey toward improved mental health and well‑being. Daily responsibilities include leading teen girls in experiential therapies such as art, music, yoga, hiking, and fitness, and engaging them in daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe verbal de‑escalation or physical intervention techniques when needed.
• Serve as a positive role model and maintain a supportive atmosphere.
• Communicate important observations and updates to Shift Leads and Shift Managers.
• Document client progress notes daily at the end of each shift.
• Encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill application.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ years.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent GED required; associate or bachelor’s in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred.
• Quick decision‑making skills and a growth mindset aligned with Embarks core values.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training provided.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and federal and state background checks in accordance with Montana state laws.
