Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Eureka, MT to support adolescent girls (13-18) on-site. The role involves facilitating experiential therapies and maintaining boundaries with teens while providing a safe, empathetic environment.

The position offers hourly pay of $21.00–$23.00 with a $1,500 sign-on bonus distributed in three installments after 30 days, six months, and twelve months, contingent on eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Min 1 year of experience with adolescent populations is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teen girls as they arise
• Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere
• Communicate important observations and updates to the Shift Leads and Shift Managers
• Document client progress notes daily
• Encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, distributed in three $500 installments—after 30 days, six months, and twelve months of employment—contingent upon continued employment and meeting eligibility requirements.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support adolescents ages (13-18) in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. Every day you will participate and guide teen girls in experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, hiking, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities. To thrive at Chrysalis, you must have an empathetic heart and maintain personal and professional boundaries with teens.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Age: 21+ years of age or older
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
• Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
• Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
• Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.
