Job summary

Harry Meyering Center, Inc. in Mankato, MN is seeking Awake Overnight Direct Support Professionals to provide safe, compassionate care for individuals with disabilities during overnight hours. You will stay awake throughout the shift, monitor safety, respond to needs or emergencies, and document daily activities.

Typical schedule is 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend. The role offers benefits such as paid training, overtime pay, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must hold a valid United States driver's license and pass a driving record check.
• Must pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to complete daily direct care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and changing.

Responsibilities

• Keep individuals safe and supported throughout the night.
• Turn your night-owl habits into meaningful, paid work. Lend a hand with personal care tasks when required.
• Cheer people on as they pursue what matters to them.
