Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking Overnight Direct Support Professionals to provide awake overnight support for adults with disabilities in Ocean County, New Jersey. Shifts run 11:00 PM–9:00 AM, with positions available as both full-time and part-time.

Starting pay is $20.70 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to $24.70 per hour through shift differentials and overtime. Weekend availability is required, and employees must stay awake and engaged for the entire shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Comfortable with monitoring, reporting and documenting observations.
• Willingness to assist with daily living tasks and medications per policy.
• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attentive overnight supervision for health and safety of individuals.
• Complete hourly status checks and overnight monitoring tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and medical concerns.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance and environmental concerns.
• Complete logs, medication records, and incident reports accurately.
