Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking Overnight Direct Support Professionals to provide awake overnight support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential homes in Ocean County, New Jersey.

You will work the 11:00 PM–9:00 AM shift, remaining awake and attentive, with duties including monitoring, responding to needs, and documenting overnight activities. Starting pay is $20.70/hr with opportunities to earn up to $24.70/hr through differentials and overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, reliability, organization and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work independently in overnight residential care settings.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overnight supervision for health, safety and well-being.
• Complete hourly status checks and overnight monitoring.
• Respond to emergencies, medical concerns and unexpected situations.
• Complete documentation and incident reports accurately and timely.
