Job summary

This overnight position includes a wage advancement potential up to $14.46/hour after six months and a $2,000 hiring bonus, reflecting commitment to quality care and staff support.

Qualifications

• Successfully meet the requirements of a background check.
• Experience and/or training of at least one year with individuals with disabilities is desired.
• Computer skills that support LSS technology and basic math skills.
• Able to read, write, and solve problems.
• Able to recognize boundaries and exhibit patience, self-control, and flexibility.
• Ability to suggest and implement strategies to enhance the service.
• CPR/First Aid certification (may be obtained after hire).
• Medication administration training (may be obtained after hire).
• Mental Health certification is desired (may be obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security and safety through relationship building and interaction.
• Advocate for individuals in medical and community engagement and personal choice.
• Support individuals in performing essential living skills and independence.
• Provide transportation to appointments and events; maintain documentation and records.
• Attend periodic meetings and trainings as required; overnight shift with limited sleep.
