Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, offers community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and contribute to meaningful daily support.

As a Direct Care DSP in Starbuck Erickson (7on - 7off, Wed-Wed 10pm-8am), you’ll help participants with personal care, activities, and goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Competitive pay with full benefits and a supportive supervisor network.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate with participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants in reaching developmental goals (budgeting, exercise, nutrition).
• Help participants participate in community activities and social events.
• Build real relationships and provide consistent oversight and support.
• Maintain safety and dignity while fostering independence.

• Education: No High School Diploma or equivalent required for direct care role.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
