Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita family member, seeks a dedicated caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ohio. This full-time night-shift role includes Tue 10p-8a and Fri 10p-8a, plus every other weekend 8p-8a, and Wed/Thu 10p-8a the following week.

You’ll help participants with daily living and community participation. Join a mission-driven team and build meaningful relationships, with strong supervision and access to Sevita’s development programs

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent , proof of education is required
• Age Requirement: Minimum 18yrs of age
• Experience: Six months of experience Intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance preferred

Hire wage is $17 hourly for awake wage and $13.45 hourly for sleep wage

This position prefers someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled

10p-8a Tuesday, Friday with 8p-8a every other weekend, following week is 10p-8a Wednesday,Thursday
