Job summary

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth in Las Vegas seeks Direct Care Staff to support homeless youth, supervise overnight shifts, provide trauma-informed care, and connect residents with services. You will cook meals, assist with daily living needs, and help transport youths to appointments within a supportive, mission-driven team.

The role requires strong crisis intervention skills, ability to work flexible hours, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with homeless youth or crisis services preferred.
• Able to multitask in high-stress environments and crises.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise overnight and on-call youth in shelter housing.
• Respond to crisis calls and provide trauma-informed intervention.
• Assist with intake and connect youth to services.
• Prepare meals and manage basic living needs for residents.
• Transport youth to appointments and activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate case files, logs, and program reports.
