Lifesteps, Inc. is a local human service agency in Monaca, PA, seeking compassionate Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home setting. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, personal care, and transportation to appointments.

Full-time hours with overnight shifts and flexible part-time options are available, with paid training for those new to the field. Experience welcome, training provided, and supportive benefits noted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, meal preparation, bathing and transport to doctor appointments.
• Provide personal care assistance including grooming or bathing and medication administration.
• Support residents with daily activities and participate in community outings and activities.

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Monaca, PA.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
