Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. in Homer City, PA, is hiring compassionate Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home.

Full-time overnight shifts are available from 11 pm to 7 am, with part-time options and paid training. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, bathing, medications, and community outings; no experience required.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
• No experience needed; paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and home care
• Cook and serve meals
• Clean the house and manage housekeeping tasks
• Shop for groceries and supplies
• Assist with grooming, bathing, and personal care
• Administer medications as instructed by supervisors
• Coordinate community outings and activities

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Homer City, PA.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
