Lifesteps, Inc. is hiring Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Monongahela, PA. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, grooming, and transportation to appointments, while supporting residents in daily living tasks.

No experience is required and paid training is provided. The schedule is part-time with varying hours, offering steady opportunities and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to residents'

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
• No experience required; paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with disabilities in activities of daily living
• Provide personal care such as grooming or bathing
• Assist with dressing, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments
• Support residents during community outings and activities
• Follow care plans and medication administration as directed

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities
