Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role includes road call services and thorough documentation of all repairs.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, component inspections, and installing onboard computers, with a focus on safe, efficient operation and a culture of quality. On-site position with a 4-day workweek.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs, tires, brakes, electronics.
• Experience with A/C refrigeration a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and inspect components.
• Ensure roadworthy licensing and registration.
• Document repairs and maintenance in the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install, replace and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and related parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Carry out road call services as needed.
