Job summary

Milestone Technologies is seeking a Data Center Technician II (L2) to join our night-shift team in the data center. You will independently deploy, troubleshoot, and repair servers, storage, and network infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime under minimal supervision.

You will perform hardware installations, migrations, and break/fix activities, document actions, and collaborate with engineering and operations. Overnight shifts and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a data center or IT operations.
• Experience with server hardware installations and troubleshooting.
• Strong cabling and rack-and-stack understanding.
• Experience with ticketing, asset tracking, and change management.
• Ability to work overnight with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, and rack servers and storage equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and hardware upgrades.
• Diagnose and repair server/storage hardware failures.
• Document troubleshooting and deployment activities.
• Support power, cooling, and environmental monitoring.
• Mentor L1 technicians as needed.
