Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician L3 to lead build-out and operation of a high-performance data center. You will own deployment tasks, hardware installation, and ongoing troubleshooting across server, network, and infrastructure domains.

You will collaborate with engineers and site leadership, document processes, and participate in 24x7 on-call coverage. Strong English communication and hands-on data center expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data center operations or similar technical environments.
• Proven rack & stack, hardware installation, and structured cabling experience.
• Experience provisioning and re-provisioning systems (USB, PXE, or network-based).
• Bootstrapping network devices and IP addressing experience.
• Linux systems knowledge and basic scripting (Bash, Ansible).
• Experience with enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Supermicro, etc.).
• Strong networking fundamentals and ticketing systems familiarity (Jira).
• Structured SOPs and change-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack & stack, hardware installation and structured cabling during deployment.
• Support provisioning, configuration, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure across Layer 1–3 (hardware, cabling, network).
• Serve as escalation point for complex operational issues.
• Interface with network devices via CLI (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell).
• Use Linux for troubleshooting and operations support.
• Maintain asset and inventory records in ITSM/DCIM tools.
• Participate in change management and maintenance windows.
• Assist transition from build phase to steady-state operations with proper documentation.
• Ensure safety, security, and operational standards are met.
• Support 24x7 on-call rotation.
