Job summary

Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Night Crisis Worker to provide overnight crisis intervention, case management, and shelter services. This role supports trauma-informed care, administers medications as assigned, and coordinates with other providers to ensure safety and stability for children in placement.

The position offers overnight shifts with $20/hour plus up to $2/hour shift differential, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience: 3 years in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and provide in-person crisis counseling.
• Manage shelter intakes and departures; supervise children in shelter.
• Assist in medication administration and client transport as needed.
• Complete required forms and documentation; coordinate referrals.
