Job Summary

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities including:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Assist with new member sign-up and utilization of the Planet Fitness App.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Update member accounts and collect balances.
• Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and escalate as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the club, including cleaning the gym overnight.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Empathy and problem-solving abilities.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Typing skills required.
• Availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, plus one weekday shift.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk continuously during shift.
• Talk in person or on the phone regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally encounter chemicals.
• Vacuum and mop as needed.
