Job summary

Legacy Pointe at UCF is hiring part-time Certified Nursing Assistants for overnight opportunities in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care departments. The overnight CNA assists residents with personal care, mobility, toileting, and other nighttime needs while maintaining a safe environment.

This role suits attentive, patient, dependable individuals who are comfortable providing care during overnight hours and working under the Nurse Manager and team guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification meeting department requirements (BLS/AED as applicable).
• One year of healthcare or residential care experience preferred.
• Overnight healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate assistance to residents with varying needs.
• Strong communication, observation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow established care plans and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably PointClickCare.
• Basic computer skills and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to residents during overnight shifts.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.
• Assist residents with toileting, personal hygiene, dressing, and ADLs.
• Support safe resident transfers and mobility.
• Turn and reposition residents to prevent pressure injuries.
• Provide reassurance to residents overnight and monitor changes.
• Assist residents with dementia or cognitive impairments with patience.
• Record vital signs and observations; document care electronically.
