Job summary

Kendal at Lexington seeks a CNA for overnight shift 6 PM - 6 AM in Lexington, VA. We offer a $5,000 structured sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly pay range of $21.50-$25.50 plus shift differential eligibility.

On-site, full-time position with dedicated care for residents in a supportive, values-driven community. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring residents, documenting care, and contributing to a safe, respectful atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license in Virginia.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work the scheduled shift and extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and well-being.
• Assist during mealtimes to ensure residents are supported and comfortable.
• Accurately document care provided and communicate with team and families.
• Help create a safe, respectful atmosphere for all residents.
