Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have or obtain CPR & First Aid certification before direct patient contact.
• Must pass background studies by the Minnesota DHS.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions or discharge paperwork.
• Observe and monitor patients; report observations to staff.
• Take vital signs as instructed.
• Respond to crises per policy; notify supervisor.
• Document shift events in logs.
• Attend staff meetings and training.
• Administer or monitor medications as trained by RN Supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping and transportation duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
