Job summary

Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs in Needham, MA is seeking an Overnight Milieu Specialist to join the multidisciplinary treatment team on the overnight shift for children with emotional and behavioral needs. You will focus on social, recreational, and behavioral support, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents while modeling therapeutic, family-centered care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, two years of experience with children who have emotional or behavior

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Associates or Undergraduate degree in related field.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive Walker vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team to support emotional, behavioral, and educational development of children.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to other team members on the shift.
• Assist Supervisors on campus overnight and perform end-of-shift walkthroughs.
• Implement treatment protocols in children’s treatment plans, IEPs, and ISPs.
• Assist with crises management and required administrative tasks.
