Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver for night dispatch routes to deliver and unload food products to customer locations across intrastate and interstate routes. You will operate tractor trailer or straight truck, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork.

Responsibilities include on-time delivery, customer signatures, securing loads, and complying with DOT regulations. Prioritizing safety, you will work within a team to support America’s food distribution

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks including inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drives to deliver customer orders according to route schedule and unloads freight.
• Verifies delivery with customer and collects signatures when required.
• Ensures equipment and freight are secured and paperwork is completed accurately.
