Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver for a 14-year-old girl with I/DD to provide support with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, nighttime routines, and morning preparation for school.

This is an independent contractor role paying $15.00 per hour. Shifts are 9:30 PM–6:00 AM, Monday through Sunday, in Punta Gorda, Florida, focusing on safety, independence, and helping the client participate in community life.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

The individual is a 14-year-old girl who needs caregiver support with ADLs, personal hygiene, her nighttime routine, and getting ready for school in the mornings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $15.00 hourly.

Schedule: Shifts available Monday to Sunday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
