Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida INC is seeking a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping a 14-year-old girl with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve independence and live her best life.

This is an independent contractor position paying $15.00 per hour. Shifts are overnight from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Sunday, to support evenings and mornings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

The individual is a 14-year-old girl who needs caregiver support with ADLs, personal hygiene, her nighttime routine, and getting ready for school in the mornings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $15.00 hourly.

Schedule

Shifts available Monday to Sunday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
