Job summary

Right at Home Lino Lakes is seeking Overnight Caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support for seniors and adults with disabilities. This is a part-time position offering flexible evening and night shifts with competitive hourly pay and weekly pay options.

You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, medication reminders, and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Reading/writing/speaking English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Background check required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Transfer/move client around home.
• Housekeeping tasks: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/showering/dressing/shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed ROM exercises.
• Dementia care and memory support.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• 18+ years of age
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
